Facing the future: Worcester’s green plan to prepare for climate change

Description

Over the last year and a half, Worcester officials have been working on the Green Worcester Plan (which was delayed because of COVID)—the goal of which is to reduce the city's carbon emissions and prepare the city for the detrimental effects of climate change. The head of Worcester's Department of Energy and Asset Management, John Odell, said that the city's successful response to the pandemic has made him more optimistic for the green plan's long-term success.
