I Am Worcester "Mask-Up Gallery" - Rebecca, Mark, & Parker Read |
Description |
"Rebecca and Mark Read are the parents of one of Worcester's newest resident's, Parker. Like Parker, Rebecca Read was born and raised in Worcester and she now works at St. Vincent Hospital which she says makes her feel like she is, 'giving back to the community that has given her so much over the years.' Elm Park is one of her favorite places in the city because it's, 'beautiful no matter the season.' Worcester's annual Fourth of July celebration is a favorite of Rebecca's. She shares that one of her best Fourth of July memories was when she took her 'little cousin to the fireworks show at East Park. We ate ice cream, wore glow sticks around our necks, and watched the fireworks from our lawn chairs. This was a special night out for her - and I loved seeing her eyes light up with all the excitement. I grew up going to the fireworks every year, and it was so fun to share the same experience with her.'" |
