The City of Worcester has been and is working on efforts to improve the downtown area to make it more easily accessible as well as brighten up the area. One of these examples is a new pay-by-plate system for vehicles to make the parking process much easier. This will encourage those who are within a short distance to take a car ride downtown and not feel worried about the complications that come with parking. For small businesses, this is support in encouraging more traffic in the area, which will ultimately evolve into more business and sales for the struggling area.
