Title

My Mask Story

Description

My mask story: like most crafters, I’ve got a stash of leftover supplies that accumulate and take up space. When masks were impossible to find, I was terrified and feeling helpless. I found a tutorial online and got out the sewing machine. I ran out of elastic and had to change the design a little but I got about 60ish made in a couple weeks. I sent a few to my sister, to my brother and his family, and to my niece who was still working the drive through at dunkins. I made sure my neighbors were all set, and gave some to friends. My husband works at the Staples home office in Framingham, and they sent out a request in case any crafty employees could help out their warehouse employees, who were considered essential workers. I had about 20 left and sent them along. Hopefully they gave a little peace of mind even if they weren’t the prettiest things!
